Alix in Wonderland: Arches National Park

Arches National Park is located in Southern Utah, and is considered by many to be one of the best National Parks in the United States to visit.
This past weekend, myself and a group of friends were able to take a road trip down to see this spectacular place. With a beautifully colored landscape and fantastic natural rock arches, Arches National Park never disappointed. We felt like we were in Cars.
We got up early to make the three hour drive to Moab. We caught sunrise while driving down and stayed in the park until sunset, only taking a break for breakfast and picking up some (really really good) Mexican food for dinner.

Delicate Arch
We took the three mile hike to go to Delicate Arch right when we got to the park. The hike is steep but fun, and it comes with great views.
People are always at this arch, so the earlier you can get there, the better. I snapped this shot while my group and I waited our turn to get our pictures with the arch.

Featured above are Balanced Rock, rock climbers in the Garden of Eden, the view from Delicate Arch, Double Arch, and Pine Tree Arch.
I absolutely loved visiting Double Arch and being able to recreate a photo from when I visited here in my childhood! Double Arch is a short hike and will leave you in awe.
The Garden of Eden was along the way there and is great for bouldering and exploring, as long as you are very careful not to disrespect the place. We were there for sunset. It was incredible!
